Installation Guide

How to install Flipsurf on your boat

Step 1

Thoroughly clean near the rear starboard and port sides with residue-free cleaner such as 70% isopropyl alcohol. Installation should be done when boat, product and ambient temperature are above 70° F.

Step 2

FlipSurf® requires 6.5″ x 15.75″ of flat surface to mount. Once located, align FlipSurf® so that the top edge sits 1″-2″ above or below the water line when ballasts are full. Position as far back on the boat as possible.

Step 3

Peel off adhesive backing on magnetic bracket.

Step 4

Firmly press mounting bracket onto boat at the location identified in Step 2. Allow the strip to sit for a minimum of 72 hours before use or submerging in water.

CAUTION

FlipSurf® contains strong magnets. Persons with medical implants or other medical devices, credit/debit cards, cell phones, hard drives, etc., should remain 12″ (30 cm) from product.

Do not adjust FlipSurf® while the boat is in motion. Potential pinch hazard.

This product is intended for inboard boats only. Do not use with outboard boats.

Do not use at speeds in excess of 15 mph. Remove FlipSurf® when not surfing.
